The Lutheran parish of St. Christopher (Sancti Christophori in Latin) is a remarkable and special place where the heritage of two peoples has met for centuries. We are a community made up of Polish-speaking Lutherans, who cherish the liturgical heritage of our Church in a special way, as well as German-speaking Lutherans living in Wrocław and Lower Silesia - those born here before 1945, their descendants, but also those who have chosen Silesia as their new home. More recently, English-speaking Protestants and evangelicals from Ukraine have also joined our community. It is fascinating that in contemporary Wrocław we gather around a temple where Poles living in Breslau have prayed since the 16th century.

We look forward to welcoming anyone who wants to create a living history of our parish and city together and without prejudice. We are the direct heirs to the legacy of the pre-war parish of St. Mary Magdalene, where the first Reformation sermon was preached in Silesia. This unbroken thread of history has led us to where we are now and who we are: a vibrant community of Christians wanting to follow Jesus Christ, coming from different countries in one of the most interesting places in Europe. St Christopher in Wrocław is us.
